Curator's Note

Of the many waves that broke across the rocks that morning, only one rose into the sculptural form Diane had been waiting for. Force became weightless for a fraction of a second, suspended above the sea before falling back into its restless rhythm.

Around it, subtle layers of blue move quietly from water to distant land and sky, softened by the warmth of the stone. Within these blended tones, the moment finds its power in simplicity - movement held still and the energy of the coast briefly transformed into calm.
