Curator's Note

Courthouse Butte held steady as evening unfolded around it. Above the sandstone, a ribbon of rose and lavender stretched across the cooling blue, while the desert below settled slowly into shadow.

The moment did not announce itself. It gathered quietly, its color deepening as dusk approached. Diane remained as the last traces of evening moved across the sky, drawn to the balance between the enduring stone and everything passing above it.

"Evening Unfolding" holds that gentle transition—the desert at rest beneath a sky still changing.
